Focus, and do it - State Titles

Sometimes I get in a rut where I swear I am looking at my sights, but still cant call bad shots. Often I only think I am looking at them, but other times I really am, right up until I finger starts squeezing, then my brain switches off for that split second. You need to put extra effort into focusing on the sights. It is not good enough to look at them. Focus! Concentrate! Put everything you have into watching those sights and squeeze the trigger with conviction. By this, I mean dont dawdle around slowly applying more and more pressure. Make a decision, "I am squeezing the trigger", and do it. Using your trigger finger touch the web between your thumb and trigger finger and pay very close attention to what your sights do when that happens.

This has re-affirmed another point for me in Rapid Fire. Complete each shot before moving to the next. You need to come up on the target, make sure your sights are perfect, squeeze the trigger and WATCH WHAT YOUR SIGHTS DO, NOW you can move to the next target.

If you think your focused and your shots are not good, FOCUS! Draw that extra attention, unlock that spare brain cell so both of them are on the job.
